Malaysia joins IFDC

The Malaysian Caregiver Association MCGA joins the International Federation for Dementia Care otherwise known as IFDC. Malaysia’s ageing population is soaring high. Recently, the country has seen a great in flock of senior citizens from different countries availing home-care services and other age-care services.  

MCGA is the center of certification of skills Nursing Care & Health Care in meeting the aspiration of the country. It is committed to train, certify and educate care givers and managers on Nursing Care for global market and Home Care Centers for better quality of life of elderly, child care with special needs. one of its core  objectives is to  establish smart partnership with care industry and government to address the shortfall of vocational and skills training development, to collaborate  with  local universities and abroad in the implementation of skills; certification of care givers and  diploma and degree program. It also aims towards development of human resources and skilled workforce to assist the nation achieve its developed and industrialized nation by year 2020. Making Malaysia the Education Hub of the region.

Dr Choo is the Founder and the Chairman of the Malaysian Caregiver Association. He is a certified Instructor and designed  many programs in Engineering and Management  for several Universities in Malaysia for the Diploma , Bachelor and Master level including the Professional Diploma in Nursing Care awarded by Asia e University.  He is a practitioner in Marketing Management and Engineering. Being the founder of MCGA he certainly can use these skills and experiences to expend and developed MCGA into a respectable and useful association for the country.
